How much does BlindSpot cost?
BlindSpot is $9.99/month after your 7-day free trial. No credit card is required to start, and you can cancel anytime.
What exactly do I have to do to set it up?
Most people start by connecting an email inbox (Gmail, Outlook, Yahoo, or iCloud), since that's where most promises already live in writing. Commitments start showing up as soon as it's connected. You can also skip that and send in a photo or screenshot, or just type something in directly, whenever you want.
Do I need to be technical to use this?
No. BlindSpot doesn't need you to be tech-savvy. It needs you to use your phone and inbox the way you already do. There's nothing to configure or learn, it's a simple running list that updates itself.
Will it email or text my clients on my own?
No. BlindSpot never sends anything on your behalf. See What We Read for exactly what it can and can't do. It only surfaces what you already said, you decide what happens next.
What if I don't want to connect my email at all?
You don't have to connect it. Email just tends to catch the most since that's where most promises already live in writing, but you can run BlindSpot entirely on photos and typed notes if you'd rather leave your inbox out of it.
Using it day to day
What happens when I mark something done?
It moves out of your open list. BlindSpot doesn't take any action on its own. Done, snoozed, or dismissed are all your call, always.
How does it decide what's "high risk"?
Based on signals like how the promise was worded, how soon it's due, and whether it's been sitting quietly without any follow-up. It's meant to help you triage, not to be treated as a guarantee.
Can I use it on more than one email address?
Yes. Connect multiple mailboxes to the same account, and disconnect any one of them individually without affecting the others.
Trust
Does BlindSpot read all of my email?
We only look at mail well enough to check whether it contains a commitment. We don't store your full inbox. Only the short summary of an actual promise gets kept.
Can BlindSpot send an email pretending to be me?
No. The read-only permission your provider grants us makes this technically impossible, not just against our policy.
What happens when I delete my account?
Every commitment, every mailbox connection, and your login are removed in one step, automatically. This is immediate and permanent, so if you're not sure, don't confirm yet.
